IG Akustikusneurinom (IGAN)

IG Akustikusneurinom (IGAN), based in Cham, Switzerland, was founded in 2007 by businessman Guido Fluri. As a purely humanitarian act, he finances the establishment and development of the organisation and contributes to research projects with the relevant hospitals.

All affected people can apply to the service free of charge to obtain help and advice. The organisation has its own administration.

The aim of the organisation is to provide and promote understanding of the condition for those people afflicted by it, as well as providing assistance in selecting the optimal course of treatment for each individual case. If an operation is necessary then a goal is to put the patients in the hands of the best specialists and surgeons, as well as to provide support to patients and, if necessary, financial assistance.
